A clear path, not a guess

Every student starts with the same simple process, so parents always know what is happening and why.

  1. Conversation

A short, relaxed chat about goals, school feedback and how the student likes to learn.

  2. Gentle assessment

A low-pressure first session to see what is secure and where the gaps are.

  3. Weekly plan

Focused lessons built around the syllabus, with small, achievable goals each week.

  4. Review together

Regular check-ins with a written note on what has improved and what comes next.

About the tutor

Patient, prepared and on your side

Olive Atlas is run by one tutor who believes most learning problems come down to a missing step, not a lack of ability. Lessons slow down where they need to, speed up where they can, and always finish with the student knowing what to practise next.

Parents get honest, plain-language updates. Students get a calm hour where questions are always welcome.

  • Clarity Every concept is explained in more than one way.
  • Structure Each lesson has a goal and a short recap.
  • Warmth Mistakes are treated as useful information.
Questions

Good to know

What ages do you tutor?

Students from upper primary through to the final years of secondary school, plus adults returning to study who want a refresher.

Do we need to buy any materials?

No. Worksheets, practice questions and notes are provided. Students just bring their school books and any recent homework or feedback.

How will I know if it's working?

After each block of lessons you receive a short written summary covering what was covered, what has improved and what the next focus will be.

What if we need to reschedule?

Just give a day's notice and we will find another time that week. Online sessions are usually the easiest to move.

Can lessons continue through school holidays?

Yes. Holiday lessons are a good time to review a tricky topic or get ahead before a new term begins.
